Recommendations from Teachers

Mr James, Business Foundation Programme Manager, Bellerbys Brighton

Adrian Spottiswoode is leading the way by helping the Business Faculty to make great leaps forward with his regular blog, "A spot of economics.". At least once a week he discusses issues which have either been raised in class or have recently appeared in the news, giving these an interesting twist and questioning the students' own understanding of the subject matter. It has proven to be very popular with all the Economics students across the college and I am sure it will encourage many similar initiatives from staff over the next few years.

Mr Gray, Economics Teacher, Bellerbys Brighton

I use your blog frequently with the students and they find it particularly useful in bringing (occasionally dry) theory to life. Dmitri has written an app so students should shortly be able to access the blog from their smartphones.

Ms Rossitter, Economics Teacher, Bellerbys Brighton

I often use the blog, it has lots of useful and up-to-date material that my students respond well to. All in all it has been a valuable resource for me when teaching economics.

Mr Lucas, Economics Teacher, Bellerbys Brighton

I actively encourage my students to regularly check Mr Spottiswoode's blog as the posts are invariably interesting, topical and extremely useful. This blog has helped me to enthuse students and stimulate their interest in current economic developments - something that is vital if students are to do well in this subject. Please keep posting!"

Mr Bowen, Head of Business Faculty, Bellerbys Brighton

First class work means that some us are constantly updated on current issues almost as they happen. Very useful.
